New Education Initiatives - Resource Hubs and Webinars
Published Mon 16 Mar 2026
Dear Hockey SA Community,
We are excited to introduce our new education pathway initiative, designed to strengthen and support the volunteer workforce that drives our sport. This initiative focuses on developing and upskilling coaches, officials, and club volunteers by providing practical learning opportunities, accessible resources, and ongoing professional development.
Whether you’re a coach, umpire, technical official, club administrator, volunteer or aspiring leader, this initiative brings together the tools and knowledge needed to grow your skills and continue building strong hockey communities across South Australia.

Explore Our Resource Hubs
As part of this initiative, we have launched three dedicated resource hubs designed to support your development in different areas of the sport. Each hub provides practical tools, guidance, and learning resources to help you grow your confidence, knowledge, and impact within your role.
Across all three hubs, you will find practical resources, guides, and tools designed to help you strengthen your programs, support your teams, and enhance your leadership within the sport. The hubs will also keep you informed about accreditation opportunities, upcoming webinars/ workshops, and events and opportunities, making it easier to stay connected with learning and development opportunities throughout the year.

Educational Webinar Series
From March through November, Hockey SA will host 12 educational webinars in collaboration with a range of expert external providers.
These online workshops will cover a variety of special topics and are open to the entire hockey community. The content will target areas related to coaching, officiating, volunteering, playing and governance.
The webinar series is designed to provide accessible, practical learning opportunities for anyone involved in the sport, helping build stronger clubs, better environments for participants, and more confident volunteers.
Our first webinar will be an engaging and practical nutrition session designed for players, parents, coaches and team managers who want to better support themselves and their team on and off the field – delivered by Puzzle Performance Nutrition.
