Two South Australians selected in Hockeyroos Squad

18 year old Queenslander Claire Colwill, South Australian defender Hattie Shand and lively Western Australian attacker Shanea Tonkin are new additions in a 22-player Hockeyroos squad for 2022 announced by Head Coach Katrina Powell. “Hattie is a highly competitive and skilful defender who has great physical capability.” Powell said. Hattie joins fellow South Australian, Jane Claxton in the squad who has played 193 games for the Hockeyroos.

Hockey SA welcomes new Operations Manager

Please join us in welcoming Scott Patching to Hockey SA as Operations Manager. Scott comes to Hockey SA with broad knowledge and experience in community sport, having worked at the SANFL for close to a decade. He has overseen the growth participation and promotion of Australian Rules Football in both metropolitan and country South Australia. Scott worked to deliver a high calibre competition to over 13,000 participants, 700 teams and 60 clubs.
