Hockey SA Technical Officials Awards
Hockey SA recognises the effort and commitment made by our metropolitan Technical Officials in an endeavour to achieve at the club, state, national and international levels of hockey.
Technical Officials Nominations
You have been asked to assist Hockey SA by nominating suitable Technical Officials from the Hockey South Australia Metro 1 and Premier League panels to be considered for the Peter de Lacy Medal - Outstanding Service to Technical Officiating
The shortlist will be presented to the Hockey South Australia Competitions Coordinator along with any supporting evidence you provide.
The Peter de Lacy technical officials award recognises the achievements by South Australian techs and their commitment to personal development and increasing the standard of officiating in our state.
To be eligible for the below awards the technical official must meet the following criteria -
- Technical Official at a Metro 1 level or higher.
- A Hockey SA member.
- An Australian citizen or permanent Australian Resident
Award Category
Peter de Lacy Medal - Outstanding Service to Technical Officiating
Selection Criteria:
- Highest performing technical official
- Devotion to development of technical officiating
- Consistency in availability and dedication to officiating duties
Nominations
Information must be entered online via the relevant Hockey SA Awards nomination form. Nominations must be received by 5pm on Friday 28th August 2026. Nominations received after that time will not be taken into consideration.
The overall winner will be selected from the nominated list by the Hockey SA Officials Development Group and the Hockey SA Competitions Coordinator.
All decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
