Awards Night Recap

Published Fri 16 Oct 2020

Awards night was a huge success and whilst we ran it online and did things a little differently in 2020. It was our chance to pause and celebrate the fantastic achievements of the South Australian hockey community, both on and off the field.

We got a chance to celebrate history and celebrate our modern-day heroes. Which is more important in 2020 than any other year when you consider everything we have endured to get back out on the field around the state.

A special thank you to the players, coaches, officials and most notably volunteers for their contribution to the sport across South Australia in 2020. The loyalty and commitment to playing, coaching or officiating will be even more important over the coming years as all community sport seeks to recover. To all of our Club & Association volunteers who have done the heavy lifting around the grounds, our community owes it to your hard work for the successful season.

Congratulations to all those players, officials, coaches and administrators who won the awards below.
