Adelaide Fire are back in Season 3 of the Hockey One League.

Today marks 100 days until the Hockey One League 2023 Season begins!

Season 3 of the Hockey One League gets underway for the Adelaide Fire on Sunday 8th October, when we host the Brisbane Blaze at MATE Stadium. 

Fixtures for the 2023 Hockey One season were officially launched today. The new season will see matches played on Friday nights, Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. 

Hockey SA CEO, Geoff Riddle, welcomed the Adelaide Fire fixtures for 2023. 

“The Adelaide Fire are pleased to be hosting our home matches at MATE Stadium this season on Sunday afternoons, along with a Saturday evening fixture,” Riddle said.

“Our home match allocations give us a great opportunity to welcome Adelaide Fire and hockey fans on weekends opposed to late night mid-week fixtures. This fixturing also allows our regional hockey community the opportunity to travel to Adelaide, attend these matches and support the Adelaide Fire. 

“All three home matches are convenient times for the hockey community and families to attend MATE Stadium, and witness some of Australia’s best hockey talent in action.

“We look forward to announcing our Adelaide Fire squads soon.” 

The Adelaide Fire’s home matches will see us host Sunday afternoon matches against the Brisbane Blaze on Sunday 8th October and Perth Thundersticks on Sunday 5th November. We’ll also host Canberra Chill under lights on Saturday 21st October.

This season the Fire will travel to face Hockey Club Melbourne in Parkville on Friday 13th October, Tassie Tigers in Hobart on Saturday 11th November and NSW Pride at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 18th November. 

Adelaide Fire 2023 Membership will be released to previous members on July 10th, then open to the public from July 17th.
