Adelaide Fire is South Australia’s elite Men’s & Women’s field hockey team who compete in the Hockey One League. The Adelaide Fire is managed and resourced by Hockey South Australia.
The Adelaide Fire is one of seven franchises across the country who field both a Men’s and Women’s team, in a competition which delivers equity through its playing conditions, media exposure, broadcast and scheduling.
The Hockey One League is the only domestic sports league where both the Men’s and Women’s teams are presented and delivered together in the one league.
In its 2019 debut season, the Adelaide Fire teams delivered results well above expectations. After the cancellation of the 2020 and 21 seasons due to Covid, the Adelaide Fire were thrilled to be back in action for the 2022 Hockey One Season. Now into the 2023 season, the Adelaide Fire look to take things to the next level.
