The website is long awaited and is intented to provide current information for players, officials and supporters of Veterans Hockey in Australia and to promote their achievements.

There is an interesting note in the national trophies section with regard to SA. The 55+ Sarjeant-Jacobs Trophy is named in honour of two SA Veteran Women, Coral Sarjeant (Seacliff)and Bev Jacobs(Port Pirie). The 60+ trophy is named in honour of SA Veteran Woman Caroline Wood ( Former Flinders Uni, Brighton & Blackwood keeper). All three women played in the "original" 1985 National Competition. Coral is still playing and Bev and Caroline are active supporters/organizers/officials in the National and State Veteran Women's Hockey area.
