Kukri Academy

The Hockey SA Kukri Academy is a squad of 16 boys and 16 girls ranging from ages 12 to 16. The selected athletes are to be given exposure to high level coaching and resources to help them in the pursuit of reaching the highest level.

The Kukri Academy links closely with the South Australian Sports Institute to act as a feeder program for this. This will create a smarter and better generation of players in the state.

Selection in the Kukri Academy is based from all Hockey SA events including the Zone Championships, Holiday Clinics, TAC and also performances at National Championships.

The Kukri Academy is proudly sponsored by Kukri, Just Hockey and Paradise Motors.
