State Team Policies
The State team policies are aimed at providing Hockey SA state teams with the best opportunity for success. They also allow for professional organisation and management of state teams.
Structure of Hockey SA state teams
The Hockey SA state team policies will be applicable to the following teams:
Tier One
- The Southern Hotshots (AHL men) and Southern Suns (AHL women)
- Southern Force (under 21 men) and Southern Fury (under 21 women)
- Southern Storm (under 18 boys) and Southern Flames (under 18 women)
Tier Two
- Under 15 Boys and Girls
- Hockey SA under 13 invitational teams
- Senior Country Men’s and Women’s Teams
Any other teams will not be not be recognised as official Hockey SA state teams and can operate separate from the state team policies.
